Budgie · Fruit
Can budgies eat coconut?
Yes, but only a tiny piece, rarely. Fresh coconut is not toxic to budgies, but it is very high in fat, and budgies are prone to obesity, fatty tumors (lipomas) and fatty liver.

Benefits. Coconut offers a novel texture that some budgies enjoy shredding.
Questions owners ask 1
Can budgies drink coconut water?
Plain water is the best drink. Unsweetened coconut water is not known to be toxic, but it adds sugar, and avian vets advise keeping the water bowl free of additives.
