Benefits. Green beans are low in sugar and fat and add fiber and crunch; the University of Florida veterinary hospital lists them among recommended vegetables.
Questions owners ask 1
Can budgies eat raw green beans?
Fresh green beans are commonly fed raw. Lightly steaming them is a simple extra precaution, because raw beans contain some lectins. Dried beans must always be fully cooked.
